有关贸易术语的国际惯例，主要有3种。

1．（1932年华沙一牛津规则）（W.O.Rule）

　　由国际货协会制订，本规则共21条，主要说明CIF买卖合同性质。具体规定了买卖双方所承担的费用、风险和责任。

2．《1941美国对外贸易定义修正本》 由美国九大商业团体制订，对以下六种术语作了解释：

（1）SX(point of origin)——产地交货价。
（2）FOB——运输工具上交货价。 FOB又分为六种，其中第五种为装运港船上交货价——FOB vessel(named port of shipment)。
（3）FAS——船边交货价。
（4）C&F ——成本加运费(目的港)价。
（5）CIF——成本加保险费、运费〔目的港）价。
（6）EX DOCK——目的港码头交货价。
该惯例在美洲国家影响较大。在与采用该惯例的国家贸易时，要特别注意与其他惯例的差别，双方应在合同中明确规定贸易术语所依据的惯例。

目前，（INCOTERM 1990）已被世界各国广泛采纳。甚至连美国商会等团体也向美国商人推荐使用这一惯例，以取代《美国对外贸易定义修正本》。
